NON SURGICAL ENHANCEMENT
We can offer you the latest in non-surgical and minimally invasive enhancement procedures. The two main areas for non-surgical treatments are in non surgical facelifts and non surgical breast enlargement. We use macrolane injections for non surgical breast enlargement without implants. We use a combination of chemical peels, fillers and botulinum toxins for non surgical facelifts and nose jobs (rhinoplasty).
BREAST FILLER INJECTIONS - THE BOOB JAB
We offer breast filler injections for breast enhancement for reshaping without surgery.
This is a procedure which involves injecting Macrolane into the breast tissue under local anaesthetic as an out patient procedure. You will be in hospital for an hour or so and will be able to go home immediately thereafter. Mr Shoaib remains the most experienced Macrolane surgeon and the only fully qualified plastic surgeon in Scotland trained in Macrolane treatments. (Information correct at the beginning of 2009).

What is Macrolane
Macrolane is an injection of a substance called hyaluronic acid (or HA). HA is a naturally occurring substance that is present throughout your body. HA is already widely used in cosmetic surgery to fill and smooth out fine lines and wrinkles in various parts of the face. Examples of HAs currently in use include: restylane, perlane, prevelle, puragen, hydrafill and juvederm. The difference with Macrolane is that it is far thicker than any of the previous HAs that we have and so we can use it to reshape parts of your body. Macrolane is commonly used for non surgical breast enlargement and to fill areas of unwanted contours.
NON SURGICAL FACIAL TREATMENTS
We offer facial lifting treatments without surgery.
The range of options with this type of treatment is vast, using a combination of botulinum toxins, fillers and chemical peels. In experienced and skilled hands, a combination of fillers and muscle relaxants can be used to lift the face, reduce jowls, iron out creases and rejuvenate the complexion of your skin. The more you want the better the result we can achieve, and for the ultimate facelift without surgery, you would have a combination of treatments to lift the face muscles, iron out fine lines and wrinkles, smooth out the jowls and nose to mouth lines, and refresh the skin. Down time for this is about a week if you have a chemical peel and a weekend if you have fillers and muscle relaxants only. Most non surgical facelifts treatments need topped up every few months but they can give a very effective rejuvenation result without the need for surgery. Mr Shoaib will be happy to discuss your suitability for non-surgical versus surgical techniques to help you achieve the look you're hoping to achieve.
