Taimur Shoaib holds clinics at the Canniesburn plastic surgery unit and at Monklands district general hospital in Airdrie. To arrange an appointment to see him at one of these hospitals, please ask your GP to refer you. Your GP's letter will be seen by the referral management centre and passed on accordingly.
The Canniesburn head and neck clinic is held every Monday morning and new urgent referred patients can be seen on a Monday afternoon at Canniesburn. The Monklands clinic is held every alternate Tuesday and the Canniesburn general clinic is held on alternate Wednesday afternoons. In addition, there are nurse led dressings clinics daily at Canniesburn.
Fast track referrals are available for head and neck cancers and melanoma skin cancers at his Canniesburn clinics. To arrange a fast track appointment, your GP or Consultant should call his NHS office for an appointment at the next clinic. If this is not soon enough, referrals can be seen before the usual working day starts following discussion with your GP or hospital doctor. if you have a problem and your doctor wants you seen urgently, we will do our very best to see you as soon as possible and provide you with a high quality and speedy service.
