The Glasgow Nuffield Hospital is a modern clean hospital with well maintained and up to date facilities for all patients considering cosmetic surgery. It provides a complete service to people requiring cosmetic surgery with appropriate out patient facilities including clinics, a small-procedure operating theatre and well staffed in-patient operating theatres and wards.

MRSA at the Glasgow Nuffield
The Glasgow Nuffield Hospital has a zero percent MRSA rate. This means that some people are screened for MRSA before they come in to the hospital for an operation. If you are MRSA positive, we will still treat you, but in a different way, giving you different (stronger) antibiotics if you need them and making sure we do not pass any other infections onto you or anyone else.

Getting there by car
The Glasgow Nuffield is in the west end of Glasgow and is best approached from Great Western Road, the A82. This road has its own junction on the M8 (junction 17). So, from the M8, you take the A82 turnoff towards Dumbarton, taking a right at the end of the slip road off the motorway. You pass through around 6 or 7 sets of traffic lights until the road becomes lined with trees on either side. You should proceed to take a right towards "Kelvindale" at the sign that says "Anniesland, Hyndland, Kelvindale" onto Cleveden Road. Travel along Cleveden Road for about 200 yards until you see a double mini roundabout, where you should take a left. There will be a sign here that says "Glasgow Nuffield Hospital" which you should follow. You should then see the hospital on your left about half way down this road.

Arriving by train
The closest train station to the Glasgow Nuffield Hospital is Hyndland, which is on a direct line from Glasgow Queen Street Station, on the the lower level trains. After getting off at Hyndland, follow the signs to Gartnavel General Hospital. From there, walk towards the BP petrol pump, cross the main road and walk to the right along the main road. Take a left onto Beaconsfield Road, which has no direct access to cars at this point. Walk up the hill for around 5 minutes and you'll see the entrance to the hospital on the right hand side. Do not go to Nuffield House (address: 1000 Great Western Road) as this is the business centre for the hospital, rather than the hospital itself.

Alternatively, the hospital is approximately a £10 taxi ride from Glasgow Queen Street or Glasgow Central Station. A taxi from Glasgow Airport will cost around £15.
