Permanent Lip Implants

As a result of limitations associated with existing lip enhancement techniques, extensive research has led to the creation and development of the PermaLip implant, a revolutionary new implant used for lip enhancement.

Lip enhancement techniques may be separated into two kinds - temporary and permanent. Temporary techniques require the use of injectable fillers used for lip plumping injections every 6-9 months and we have extensive experience of lip fillers using modern safe hyaluronic acids such as Juvederm Smile and Restylane Lipp, at La Belle Forme. Permanent techniques generally involve the use of injectable gel fat or implants.

For lips, PermaLip is unlike anything we've ever seen. The variety of patient needs that can be addressed with the PermaLip procedure is immense.

The excitement surrounding this cosmetic enhancement breakthrough has been immediate and overwhelming, both in the US and Europe. The implant is made in the US and consists of soft solid silicone. It is an implant that cannot rupture, cannot leak, cannot deflate and cannot degrade over time.

The implants correspond to the dimensions of the lip. PermaLip is an implant and not an injection of silicone into the lip. The implant is available in a variety of diameters and lengths to accommodate the uniqueness of each person's lips characteristics, tapering at both ends to conform naturally to the normal lip.

Although it is permanent, PermaLip is also designed to be easily removable should a person wish to achieve a larger or smaller enhancement or even return to their original lip appearance.

PermaLip is now available in Scotland at the La Belle Forme clinic in Glasgow, through Mr Shoaib, the only plastic surgeon in Scotland who offers this procedure.
