Taimur Shoaib has an active research interest in plastic surgical controversies and has published extensively on various topics. Much of his research has been in skin cancer and head and neck cancer, but he has also written on other aspects of plastic surgery. His research is co-ordinated between many different specialists, including plastic surgeons, ear nose and throat surgeons, dermatologists, oncologists, oral surgeons, speech therapists, dieticians and physiotherapists. His research has been performed locally and in conjunction with international studies.
